Death of woman in Grimsby being treated as "unexplained"

Police say they're treating the death of a woman in Grimsby as "unexplained" after she was found with serious injuries.

Officers were called to an address on Wentworth road around half past 9 yesterday morning.

Ambulance crews attended but despite their efforts they were unable to save her and she died a short time later.

Police are now trying to establish the exact circumstances that led to her death.

The force has told us: Her family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers at this difficult time.

Investigations are in their early stages to establish the circumstances leading up to the death and anyone with any information is asked to call 101 quoting log 123 of 28 February 2024.
