[Watch] 72 year old Wigan woman tackles robbers
Eileen McCartney grappled with distraction thieves.
72-year-old Eileen McCartney from Orrell in Wigan was almost robbed using a distraction technique in Wigan town Centre. Eileen recognised the situation from something she saw on TV and managed to stop three men and a woman stealing from her. She also wrestled her debit card out of the hands of one of the men.
The three men and the woman are still wanted in connection with this incident.
