Two teenagers arrested following disorder in Bacup
Police appealing for more information following incident on Saturday night
Bacup Police have made two arrests after large scale disorder broke out in Bacup Town Centre on Saturday (21st October) night.
As a result of CCTV footage and enquiries Bacup Police have arrested a 15-year-old boy from Rossendale and a 16-year-old boy from Bacup on suspicion of Affray.
Further enquiries are ongoing to identify all those responsible, if anyone has any information please contact 101 and quote log log 1504 of October 21st.
Sergeant Tony Hardman from the Rossendale Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “This behaviour is unacceptable, and we will not tolerate it.
“We will continue to work with our communities and partners as part of Op Centurion to tackle anti-social behaviour in the area.”
Operation Centurion is Lancashire Police’s response to tackling anti-social behaviour backed by Police and Crime Commissioner Andrew Snowden and £2m of extra funding secured from the Government’s new Anti-social Behaviour Action Plan.
