Two men charged with County Lines offences
The men were arrested in Southport
Two people have been charged with drug offences, as part of ongoing work to tackle county lines drug dealing.
The force’s county lines taskforce, as part of Project Medusa, arrested two men, aged 21 and 25 and a 54-year-old woman while on patrol in the Manchester Road area of Southport on Wednesday 8 May.
Doyle Jones, 25, of no fixed abode has been charged with being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs (crack cocaine and heroin) and possession of Class B drugs (cannabis).
Aniyah Burchall, 21, of Park Road South, Newton Le Willows, has been charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (crack cocaine and heroin).
The 54-year-old woman has been released under investigation.
Burchall and Jones were remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court today, Thursday 9 May.
