Thousands expected at Royal Lancashire Agricultural Show

Thousands of people are expected at the Royal Lancashire Agricultural Show this weekend.

The three-day event is one of the oldest agricultural shows in the country, regularly pulling in 25,000 visitors annually.

The show is held in the grounds of the Salesbury Hall Estate in the Ribble Valley, boasting a wide range of attractions for all ages.

Crowds can enjoy events including Shetland pony racing, livestock displays, and live music.

There is also a craft marquee and food hall, with more than 120 stalls in total showcasing local producers and craftspeople.

For children, the Children’s Village returns, with lots of activities and games to get involved in.
