A suspicious package has been delivered to a business premises in Buckshaw Village.
Lancashire Police has issued a statement saying:
"We are currently dealing with a report of a suspicious package at a premises in Buckshaw Village.
"Police were called at around 10.15am this morning (Friday 29 January) following reports a suspicious package had been delivered to Cellmark Forensic on Ordnance Road in Buckshaw Village, Chorley.
"The EOD have been notified and are en route to assess the package.
"As a precaution the premises and all surrounding buildings within 100m have been evacuated. Officers remain at the scene."
