Serious crash involving tractor near Pendleton
A farmer had been involved in an incident where their tractor crashed
Emergency services in Lancashire were called out to a serious crash near Pendleton, involving a farmer and a tractor yesterday (30 March).
Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Rescue Team reported that a farmer had been involved in an incident where their tractor had crashed some 20 metres down a gully.
They sustained life threatening injuries.
In response, the team mobilised two vehicles along with other team members responding direct.
After substantial treatment the casualty was airlifted for further life-saving treatment.
