A farm in Rossendale has made fifty thousand pounds hiring out their goats for zoom meetings.

What started as a bit of a joke has now resulted in 10,000 zoom calls with people wanting to see the furry farm animals.

They've been working non-stop holding the calls every five minutes from 6am until 9.30pm every day since they started last spring.

They've even done on them on Christmas Day.

Dot McCarthy is the 'expert in the field' and kicked it all off: "We've done loads of calls, we've been able to carry on paying wages and any extra money we make on top of the staff's wages that's all going on paying for renewable power tech for the farm.

"It's been crackers, but really fun and really nice to make so many people smile when everything's just a bit bonkers everywhere else at the moment."

Dot told us about some of the stars you can choose to have in your meetings: "So Lisa had kids last spring and she's moved back into the main pen now and she's like a free woman.

"We've got Margaret, she is the boss of this pen, she's the ruler of the roost.

"Elizabeth, she's a classy one, you can book her for all your important meetings. She'll help you out with any difficult business decisions you need to make."

Just when we thought things in 2021 couldn't get any crazier.
