Racist Graffiti in St Annes Ashton Gardens
Police have called it an 'appalling offence'

Lancashire Police have called out an 'appalling offence' after responding to reports of racist graffiti in Ashton Gardens in Lytham St Annes.
Police say writing of racist graffiti will not be tolerated adding that it has already been removed.
A statement from Fylde Police say:
"We wanted to let the community know that we’re aware of an appalling offence in Lytham St Annes and we want to let you know what we’re doing about it.
"You may be aware that racist graffiti has been sprayed in Ashton Gardens and the surrounding area, which no doubt has been done to cause offence.
"We want to send a clear message that the writing of racist graffiti will not be tolerated. This incident is not reflective of our community, and it has already been removed.
"We know that this will have caused distress to our community, and we want to reassure you that officers from the local Neighbourhood Policing team are currently out making enquiries and reviewing CCTV footage.
