Firefighters battle blaze in Preston

FIrefighters have been tackling a major blaze at Preston.

They were called to commercial premises on Bluebell Way around 1am today (Friday 7th April).

Ten fire engines and two aerial platforms were in attendance at the height of the incident.

Crews were called-in from Fulwood, Preston, Penwortham, Bamber Bridge, Longridge, Darwen, Blackburn, Hyndburn, and Chorley.

Firefighters remain at the scene but it's now been scaled back say Lancashire Fire & Rescue who say they have now four fire engines and an aerial platform remaining there.
