Police officer seriously injured in crash, is released from hospital

A female police officer seriously injured in a road traffic collision on West Derby Road has now been released from hospital.
The officer was injured after two patrol cars, responding to separate emergency incidents, were in collision at the junction of West Derby Road and Green Lane in the early hours of Monday, 11th July.
She is now continuing her recovery at home.
A second female officer who suffered pelvic and leg injuries is also recovering at home.
Officers investigating the collision are continuing to appeal for two pedestrians who were seen in the area, near to Snaefell Avenue, at the time of the collision to get in touch as we believe they may be witnesses to the collision and may have information which is vital to our investigation.
