Police investigate "unexplained" death of man in Preston
He was found in Aqueduct Street in the early hours of the morning.
There's a big police cordon in Preston city centre today (Friday 15th September) after the unexplained death of a man.
Paramedics were called to the man in his 40s who was found on Aqueduct Street at around 2.30am.
He was taken to hospital where he later died.
The man, believed to be a local man in his 40s, was taken by ambulance to the Royal Preston Hospital where he sadly died at shortly before 3.15am.
The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.
Police are particularly keen to speak to a woman who was at the scene and who moved a bike belonging to the man. We are urging her to come forward.
