Police appealing for witnesses, after pedestrian hit by bus in Preston

A man in his 60's suffered serious injuries

Lancashire Police are appealing for witnesses and footage after a pedestrian was seriously injured in a collision in Preston.

Officers were called at 7.40am today (3rd December) to New Hall Lane, Preston, to a report of a road traffic collision.

They found that a bus had been in collision with a pedestrian in the carriageway.

The pedestrian, a man in his 60s, suffered serious head and chest injuries, but thankfully the injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
