Person sought after reports of man carrying gun in Blackpool
Armed officers attended the scene, but the man had disappeared
Police investigating a report of someone carrying a gun in Blackpool have released CCTV of a man they want to speak to.
Officers were told that a man was carrying what looked like a handgun on West Park Drive at around 1pm yesterday (Monday 31 October).
Armed and unarmed officers rushed to the scene, but the man couldn't be found.
Work is ongoing to try and find him.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 101, quoting log 0649 of 31 October.
The force insists, in the meantime, that it IS safe for people in the area to go about their business as usual.
