Person rescued after getting stuck in mud in Fylde coast village

Crews were called to Freckleton on Saturday afternoon.

A person has been rescued after getting into a struggle in mud in Freckleton.

Three fire engines from Longridge, Penwortham and Preston were called to Naze Lane East, at 3:39pm on Saturday 20th March.

Firefighters and Lytham Coastguard worked together to pull the person to safety using a stretcher.
