Missing 9-year old Preston boy found safe and well

Police who have been searching for more than 24 hours for a missing 9-year old boy in Preston, have confirmed that he has been found safe and well.

Police who have been searching for more than 24 hours for a missing 9-year old boy in Preston, have confirmed that he has been found safe and well.

Maklaine Bottomley was reported missing at 3.15pm on Thursday 20th October on Webster Street in Ashton-on-Ribble.

He was thought to have been going back to Sacred Heart Primary School to pick up his lunchbox but he did not return home.

Police have thanked the public for their help and say he's now home safe and well.
