Men arrested after over 1000 Cannabis plants found in Burnley

Five men are currently being questioned

Five men have been arrested following the discovery of a significant cannabis farm in Burnley.

Yesterday evening Lancashire Police were called to a report of a disturbance involving a group of men outside a disused property on Tabor Street, Burnley.

Officers attended and two men were seen to leave the scene in a car.

After conducting a thorough search of the property, an extensive cannabis farm was discovered, consisting of over 1000 plants.

Five men, aged 21, 22, 24, 26 and 31, were arrested on suspicion of production of cannabis and are currently in custody. Our investigations are continuing.
