Man wanted in connection with offences against women in Preston
Incidents happened in Avenham Park and the city centre
Lancashire Police are asking for your help to identify a man who is wanted in connection with two offences against women in Preston.
On the afternoon of November 1, a man approached a young woman in Avenham Park, Preston, made lewd remarks and grabbed hold of her jacket. He tried to stub out a cigarette on her face but didn’t make contact.
When a member of the public approached, the man walked off.
The suspect is described as between 35 and 40 years of age, 5ft 8, of slim build, with black deadlocks with blue and white beads in them.
He was wearing a thin black puffer jacket and blue jeans.
The suspect is also being linked to an incident in Preston city centre on October 27 where a woman was thrown to the floor.
