Lancashire Police are looking for a man wanted in connection with an assault in Skelmersdale.

William Jarvis, 41, of Danbers, Skelmersdale, is wanted after an assault in Dearden Way on August 14th 2022, where a woman was kicked to the face suffering fractures and damage to her teeth.

Jarvis is described as white, 5ft 7in tall of medium build with short dark hair. He has part of his left ear missing.

Officers have been conducting extensive enquiries to find Jarvis who is believed to be to be in Liverpool.

Jarvis could be violent if approached. We urge anyone with information to come forward and contact police with his whereabouts.

Det Con Kerry Briggs, of Skelmersdale CID, said: “This was a horrific attack which left a woman requiring hospital treatment for serious facial injuries.

“We have conducted extensive, lengthy enquiries and at this time have yet to make an arrest.

“William Jarvis is wanted in connection with this matter. We believe someone knows where he is and can assist with our investigation.”
