Woman arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after man stabbed in neck in Blackpool

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was stabbed in the neck in Blackpool.
Police were called to a property on Yorkshire Street in the early hours of this morning.
The man remains in hospital in a stable condition.
A 35-year-old woman's currently in custody.
Statement from Lancashire Police
"We were called to Yorkshire Street, Blackpool at 5.04am today (May 27th) to a report of an assault.
"Officers attended and found a man in his 30s with a stab wound to his neck inside a property on the street. He was taken to hospital for treatment, where he remains in a stable condition.
"A 35-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently in custody.
"Our enquires are ongoing to establish the exact circumstances of the incident but no one else is being sought in connection with it. Anyone with any information can contact 101 quoting log number 0186 of today’s date."
