Man seriously injured after Haslingden assault
Police are appealing for information
Lancashire Police are asking for your help after a man was assaulted and seriously injured in Haslingden this week.
The victim, a man in his 30s, was approached outside the Black Bull Hotel, Blackburn Road, by a group of young men at approximately 11pm on Tuesday, October 3.
One of the men punched the victim on the jaw before the group left the scene.
The man suffered a broken jaw and has undergone surgery. He remains in hospital in a poorly condition.
We are appealing for witnesses to the attack and for any CCTV footage of the incident.
