Man charged over "horrific" Blackpool sex attack

A 28-year-old man has been charged over what police in Blackpool have called an "horrific" sex attack.
He'll face court on Monday over the alleged incident, which happened on Thursday (23rd April).
Lancashire Police launched an investigation after the 20-year-old victim was subjected to a serious sexual assault and robbed in an alleyway off Hopton Road at the side of Home Bargains on Tyldesley Road in South Shore at about 10.30pm.
A 19-year-old local man who had been arrested as part of the investigation has been released without charge.
