Man assaulted in unprovoked attack in Garstang

He suffered minor injuries in the incident

Police are investigating after a man was assaulted on his own driveway in Garstang.

Officers were called to Bonds Lane at 12.50am on 23rd of December, with police saying the man suffered minor injuries.

The incident is being treated as unprovoked.

The suspect fled in the direction of Castle Lane, and is being described as white, between 6ft and 6ft 1, with short hair and in his mid to late 30s. He was wearing a blue short jacket, a burgundy top and white trainers.

Lancashire Police now want to speak to people who might have witnesses the incident. They particularly want to talk to a potential witness, who approached the victim to check if he was okay.
