A man's been arrested after a three year old girl was picked up and carried off by a stranger in Morrisons in Blackburn.
A man's been arrested after a three year old girl was picked up and carried off by a stranger in Morrisons in Blackburn.
It happened in the store on Railway Road at about three o clock on Thursday afternoon (3rd November 2016).
The toddler was on a travellator, with her mum and sister, when a man picked her up, carried her off and put her down.
The 44-year-old is being questionned on suspicion of child abduction.
The investigation's continuing and police are appealing for witnesses or anyone else with information to contact them.
