Man arrested after incident in Blackburn
A 25-year-old man from Blackburn has been arrested, after police were threatened by a man who spent five hours on the roof of a building.
A 25-year-old man from Blackburn has been arrested, after police were threatened by a man who spent five hours on the roof of a building.
Emergency services were sent to Northgate at about 21:30 last night (Thursday 21st January 2016).
The man appeared to be armed so armed officers were also sent to the scene.
A number of roads in the area were closed.
The man came down from the roof at about 02:30 this morning (Friday 22nd January 2016).
