Man appears in court charged with murder of Lancashire woman
He's been reminded into custody, with a trial date set for November
A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a woman in Chorley.
26-year-old Jason Gowen’s is charged with the murder of 37-year-old Lancashire mum Fiona Robinson. She was found by police at an address on Congress Street last Friday.
Fiona had been living in Chorley after moving from Barrow-in-Furness in 2022.
Gowen appeared via video link from HMP Berwyn for the hearing at Preston Crown Court, which lasted around half an hour. He spoke only to confirm his name and address.
Gowen didn't enter a plea, but the court has set a provisional trial date for the 27th November.
