Lytham St Annes pub crowned most dog-friendly in the North West

Fairhaven ranks at the top out of 110 pubs across the country

Fairhaven in Lytham St Annes has been crowned the best dog-friendly pub in the North West, ranking above 110 other contenders.

It follows an inspection from the Rover's expert Public House Officers,' who decided Fairhaven stood out for their dog-friendly atmosphere and treat selection.

Dog expert, Adam Femi said:

"One of the reasons why Fairhaven have won this award is because the pub is very friendly, they also give positive reinforcement in terms of treats on the bar. These things can really help a dog settle and make it a positive experience for both the dog and their owner."

Fairhaven owner, Matthew Morris has described winning the award as 'brilliant,' and hopes to see more dogs visit:

"We do tend to try and help a lot of the dog owners in the area because having somewhere to go and enjoy with their dogs is absolutely essential."
