Lancashire Police live tweeting every 999 call
Lancashire Police is tweeting every single 999 call it gets today.
People who work in the control room are using #Policedemand
If you search that on Twitter, you'll see they've receieved dozens of 999 calls - mostly about break-ins.
It's to show people how much pressure the force comes under on a daily basis.
Here are some of the calls they've had:

The so-called "live tweeting" is running alongside a conference in Hutton at which Cheif Constable Steve Finnigan is talking to officers from forces across the country.
