Lancashire Fire tackling large blaze in Lathom
They have advised residents to keep windows and doors closed
Lancashire Fire & Rescue have been tackling a large fire at a commercial premises in Lathom.
Crews from a number of fire stations were called out this morning at just after 8am. Six fire engines from Skelmersdale, Ormskirk, Chorley, Bamber Bridge along with the aerial ladder platform from Preston are on the scene.
Firefighters are now using breathing apparatus and heat sensors to bring the blaze under control.
Residents who live nearby have been told to keep doors and windows closed because of smoke.
