Lancashire athlete admits attempted murder
A former fell-running champion has admitted the attempted murder of a British Athletics official.
Lancashire athlete, Lauren Jeska, has admitted trying to kill a former rugby player after she went on a frenzied knife attack in a sports stadium.
Jeska, who's originally from Lancaster, stabbed Ralph Knibbs at the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham back in March.
The former fell-runner also admitted to assaulting two other men who tried to intervene, and two charges of having a knife in a public place.
