Campaigners are protesting outside of Buckingham Palace today in a "last-ditch" attempt to stop Fracking in Lancashire.

The "Nanas Against Fracking" group have written a letter to the Queen urging her to ban the drilling for shale gas.

The government is set to announce whether Fracking will get the go-ahead at two sites between Blackpool and Preston any day now.

Both anti-and pro-fracking campaigners protested outside of Bloomfield Road in Blackpool back in February this year as an independent inquiry was held into whether Fracking should take place.

Communities Secretary Sajid Javid will announce his decision before 6th October.

This comes after the Labour party announced that they would ban the drilling for shale gas if they were elected into government at the next general election.
