Investigation underway after fatal crash in Ribble Valley
A man and a woman in their 60s died at the scene
A man and a woman in their 60s have died after a crash in Ribble Valley.
They were in a Chrysler that collided with a HGV on Gisburn Road in Sawley at around 10:45am on Thursday 6 October.
Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, they were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the HGV was not seriously hurt.
Officers are appealing for anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage of the collision to email forcecontrolroom@lancashire.police.uk or call 101, quoting log 421 of 6 October 2022.
