House petrol bombed in Preston

Police are hunting two men who targeted the house in Lea.

Police are investigating a petrol-bomb attack on a house in Preston.

Around 12.20am on August 10, two men approached an address in Blackpool Road in Lea.

The pair went to the rear of the building and attempted to use accelerant to break a patio window. The men then tried to break the window using a brick, before again trying to use accelerant to break the glass.

Both males went to the front of the property and one of the offenders threw a brick through the front window before the pair made off.

Detectives have released CCTV images following the incident and are appealing for information.
