Detectives have launched an investigation after a man flashed at a pensioner in Blackburn.

Police were called around 11pm on Monday April 16 following reports of a sexual offence in the Richmond Crescent area.

The victim, a woman in her 70s, said a man had approached her property and looked through her window.

He then indecently exposed himself, with the woman shutting her blinds and the offender making off from the scene.

Temp Det Insp Mark Gillibrand, of Lancashire Police, said: “The victim has been left very shaken and upset by this incident and we want to find the offender as soon as possible.

“Did you see anyone acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the offence? If so please contact us immediately.
