Firefighters still tackling large blaze in Leyland
Crews have been dealing with the incident since the early hours
Firefighters in Lancashire are still tackling a large blaze at a commercial premises in Leyland.
A number of crews were called to the fire on Clydesdale Place at around 1am this morning. At its height, eight fire engines were in attendance from Leyland, Bamber Bridge, Penwortham, Chorley and Preston stations.
As of 3.30 this morning the incident has been scaled back, but four fire crews are still on the scene
Police are assisting the fire service with road closures, and residents are also being told to keep their doors and windows closed.
