Fire crews tackling blaze which has spread to three properties in Lancashire
Six fire engines are still at the scene
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service are continuing to tackle a blaze in Burscough, which has spread from a garage to three houses.
Six fire engines remain at the scene, with crews saying vehicles have also been impacted by the fire.
In a statement the service said: "At 07:20 on 14 April 2025, eight fire engines attended an outbuilding fire on Priory Close, Burscough.
"The fire involved a garage fire that had spread to three domestic properties and multiple vehicles. Firefighters used eight breathing apparatus, one light portable pump, and multiple jets. Crews remain in attendance.
"This incident has now been reduced to six fire engines with firefighters continuing to monitor and extinguish hotspots.
"If you can see or smell smoke, please keep your windows and doors shut.
"Please stay away from the area."
