Elderly woman seriously injured in 3 car crash in Blackpool
Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage
We are appealing for witnesses and dashboard mounted camera footage following a three vehicle collision in Blackpool.
Police were called around 12.35pm yesterday (Thursday, March 3) to a report of an accident at the junction of Queen’s Promenade and Sandhurst Avenue.
A Honda Jazz car had been involved in a collision with a BMW X5 car which then collided with a Peugeot 3008.
An 87-year-old woman from Fleetwood, a passenger in the Honda, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the BMW, a woman aged in her 50s, and the driver of the Peugeot, a woman aged in her 40s, suffered minor back and neck injuries.
Police are appealing for information and urging anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
