Police in Blackpool are calling for the public's help as they continue their urgent search for a missing pensioner.

77-year-old Bruce Ford was last seen on Thursday 29 September.

He was recorded walking along Drummond Avenue towards Kingscote Park at around 1:20pm .

The force is also confident he was seen on Stanley Park Golf Course later that same afternoon, near to East Park Drive and the junction of Whinney Heys Road.

Officers want anyone who was driving in the area between 3pm and 4pm on Thursday 29 September to check their dashcam footage for any sightings - and to report them.

Bruce, who walks with a limp, is around 4'8" tall with grey hair and wears dark glasses. Just before he went missing, he was wearing a dark coloured top, dark pants and light coloured trainers.

Anyone with information on Bruce's whereabouts is urged to call 101, quoting log reference number 406 of 4 October 2022. If the information is about something happening now, call 999.

There is increased police activity in the Drummond Avenue area, with officers carrying out door-to-door enquiries.
