CCTV released after woman attacked at Blackpool North Railway station

She was attacked after asking a woman to stop swearing

CCTV has been released after a woman was attacked at Blackpool North Railway station because she asked someone to stop swearing.

She was forced into the Pumpkin Cafe by a woman who repeatedly hit her, dragged her to the floor and tried to bite her.

It happened just after 3pm on Tuesday 31 January.

The British Transport Police say the woman in the images may have information that could help their investigation.

"Anyone who recognises her is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference number 391 of 31/01/2023.
