Damian, 50, was found deceased at his flat at 54, Regent Street at 11.04am on Tuesday, July 25.

A Home Office post-mortem established that he died of multiple injuries.

The release of the footage came as his family paid an emotional tribute to Damian who they described as ‘humble and gentle’.

In a statement, his family said: “The whole family is beyond devastated at the loss of our beloved son and brother.

“Damian was humble and gentle, well loved by many across Lancaster, with a great sense of humour. He is much missed by us all and his death has left an enormous hole in our lives.”

Damian’s last confirmed sighting was at 10.18am on Sunday, July 23, at the Aldi store, in Aldcliffe Road, Lancaster.

The video footage released is from outside Aldi.

We still want to hear from anyone who remembers seeing him in the shop that morning or after that time.

Also, our officers want you to get in touch if you saw anything unusual or suspicious in Regent Street or the surrounding area between Sunday 23rd and the morning of Tuesday 25th.

Anyone who has dashcam footage from the area between those dates, is asked to contact police too.

“We have a large team of officers working around the clock on this investigation.
