Campaigners are meeting with hospital bosses tonight to discuss the future of Chorley's A&E unit.

The emergency department was downgraded to an urgent care unit five weeks ago due to staff shortages.

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals say they're still working to recruit new doctors and are yet to set a date of when it will re-open.

The Protect Chorley Hospitals from Cuts and Privatisation campaign group are meeting with trust bosses this evening to get an update on the A&E.
