Six fire crews called to fire on Bury Road

Six fire crews were called to a fire on Bury Road in Haslingden yesterday afternoon (30th November).

It's reported that a derelict building was on fire.

People in the area were urged to keep their windows and doors closed.

Six crews worked to extinguish the fire for over four hours, then two remained to monitor and extinguish hotspots.

Bury Road was closed for some time but has since reopened.
