Burnley fans turned Turf moor into one big party yesterday (21 April) after their 2-1 win over Sheffield United secured promotion back to the Premier League.

The Lancashire side return to the top flight at the first time of asking, extending their unbeaten run to an astonishing 31 games.

Elsewhere, Leeds can also look forward to a return to the Premier League - 11 months after their play-off heartbreak.

The leaders hammered Stoke 6-nil but needed Burnley to then not lose.

Burnley's then 2-1 victory over Sheffield United - secured promotion for the Championship's top two.

Boss Scott Parker has now won promotion to the Premier League with a third different club, previously Fulham and Bournemouth.

Both Burnley and Leeds remain in with a chance of finishing on 100 points.
