Body found in search for missing Blackpool pensioner
Police believe body is that of 77 year old Bruce Ford
A body has been found in the search for missing Blackpool man Bruce Ford.
Following extensive enquiries, a body was sadly found on a disused footpath near the Clifton area of Blackpool this afternoon.
While the body has yet to be identified, it is believed to be that of 77 year old Bruce. His family have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this very sad time.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for HM Coroner.
Lancashire Police would like to thank everyone who helped in the search for Bruce.
