Blackpool boy killed by lightning to be remembered at Anfield
Fans are raising money for a banner in honour of the Liverpool fan to be displayed on The Kop
A Blackpool boy and Liverpool fan who died after being struck by lightning will be remembered on the Kop during the final home game of the season.
9 year old Jordan Banks died earlier this month in Blackpool.
Reds fans are raising money for a banner, with the message "RIP Little Man" and featuring 9 footballs, with leftover donations going to a fundraiser for his family.
David Jones is the man behind the idea :
"This scenario is unimaginable for anyone to think about so I hope the outpouring of support brings them (Jordan's family) some kind of support; in the sense that everyone's thinking about them and Jordan's in the thoughts.
"This can happen in the blink of an eye and the fanbase, in the space of 24 hours when the initial idea came up with a couple of my mates on twitter, they've just delved into their pockets and threw in some donations so that we can get this banner done for him".
