Police appeal for witnesses and information over Blackburn factory fire
Officers are investigating the potential the fire could have been started deliberately
Lancashire Police have launched an appeal for witnesses and information following a large-scale fire at a factory in Blackburn.
Officers were alerted to an incident taking place at the Tensar Manufacturing Ltd warehouse in the early hours of March 31st.
Following reports of a fire at the Shadsworth Business Park, responders arrived to find that the fire was ongoing, with extensive damage being done overnight.
Firefighters spent hours trying to put out the flames, which raged until the morning when the fire was brought under control.
Now, as part of their investigations, officers are appealing to the public for information, as they believe the fire may have been started deliberately.
Lancashire Police are now asking anyone who may have any information that could help officers in their investigations to come forward as soon as possible.
In particular, the force are urging anyone who may have any CCTV footage from the area at the time of the fire to get in touch.
