Blackburn crash leaves two men with serious injuries

Emergency services were called out to a collision in Feniscowles area last night

Two men are in hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Blackburn.

It happened last night just before 9pm last night (Friday 20th September) on Broken Stone Road in the Feniscowles area, at the crossroads junction with Bog Height Road, Heys Lane and Tockholes Road.

A Seat Ibiza had collided with a Toyota Prius - and overturned.

Two other people suffered minor injuries.

Sgt Paul McCurrie from Lancashire Police's Road Policing Team, said:

“This was a collision which has left a man in a critical condition in hospital. My thoughts are very much with him and his family.

“As we investigate the collision, we want to hear from anyone who witnessed it or was in the area around the time and has dashcam/CCTV footage.
