Arrest made after reports that women and girls were being approached in Preston
A 33-year-old man has been arrested
A man is being questioned by Preston Police after reports of women and girls being approached or watched in the Cottam and Ingol area.
Incidents were reported between 31 January and 3 January, with the suspect driving a black car.
Officers saw a car matching that description on London Road - it was followed and stopped on Lightfoot Lane.
A 33-year-old man is being questioned on suspicion of driving whilst disqualified, dangerous driving, stealing a car, burglary and Section 4 public offences intending to harm, alarm or distress.
