It's reported children were hurt when part of a former pub collapsed in Blackburn

It's reported a number of children have been hurt after a derelict pub collapsed in Blackburn

Firefighters were called to the incident on Hill Street at around 6 last night after getting reports part of the former Duke of Edinburgh pub on the corner of Hill Street and Crabtree Street had collapsed

It's being reported children had been playing at the site which had scaffolding around it and 6 people were taken to hospital

It isn't thought they are seriously hurt

Specialist rescue equipment and search and rescue dogs were also sent to the scene and a multi agency investigation is underway to find out exactly how this happened
