People are being urged to plan their day with large crowds expected
Thousands of people are set to flock to Southport this weekend for the town's annual air show.
Each year the event draws huge crowds with the hot weather expected to boost visitor numbers.
The airshow takes place over two days with families able to see the famous Red Arrows take to the skies.

People are being urged to plan their journeys with roads and the surrounding is expected to be busy.
Organisers are urging those travelling to see the Red Arrows to leave plenty of time for their journey to avoid missing them and to use public transport where possible.
Parking is available on the beach (North Beach only), Marine Drive and off the promenade in Princes Park, the Esplanade car park, and Victoria Park, only 5 5-minute’ walk from the seafront.
The Southport Air Show opens at 10:00 and closes approximately 17:00 on Saturday and Sunday.
